Keep rising to the top! Give it all you got! Oh yeah Keni Burke style! Gasoline prices are rising and people across the U.S. are pissed off. So what are people doing in response to rising gas prices? People are trading or selling their hummers and trucks for more fuel efficient vehicles. Here in the Sun City, people are still driving their pickups and sport utility vehicles. Personally, I am trying not to drive my truck all that often. My truck has a tendency to drink fuel like a drunk in a bar. So how can you get better gas mileage out of your gas hungry vehicle? You might hear people tell you to keep your tires properly inflated. This really doesn’t help gas mileage. What I really want to do is, avoid making frequent trips to the gas station to keep me and my truck happy. What I have heard is that making adjustments to your vehicles on board computer can improve gas mileage. There are various companies that sell computer tuning machines that can make modifications to your car or truck computer. Do they work? I have no idea! The only way that you can save gas is by not driving your vehicle everyday. Try car pooling, public transportation, or try walking to work or bicycling. If the petroleum companies want to start earning more money, they should lower the price per barrel and start offering cheap gasoline. If they were to do that, everybody will line up and fill their tanks! Peace!

This is just a matter of my opinion as to who is the most attractive anchor/reporters in El Paso. As far as I can tell, Adrienne Alvarez, Heidi Renpening, and Angeenah Adamien are the most attractive reporters in El Paso as of last week. Speaking of attractive women, does anyone remember Janice Carpio? The last time I did a check on her, she was working in San Antonio, Texas. Skylar Zwick also deserves a mention in this post. The only problem I have with Skylar, are the clothes that she wears on air. Have you seen what she wears? Her clothes are very loose fitting. She needs to wear fitted clothing, clothing that complements her body. She also needs to fire her hair stylist! Maybe she can work with Nicole Ayoub’s hair stylist? That is if Nicole is willing to part with her?

It turns out that Pappas Telecasting (Owner of KDBC) has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. So what does this mean for KDBC 4? It means that KDBC 4 will be up for sale very soon. If I can remember correctly, there were talks of KDBC being sold and turned into a Spanish station a few years ago. So is it still possible for that to happen in 2008 or in 2009? I certainly hope not! I seriously doubt that El Paso needs another Spanish language news station. All we can do is just wait and watch what unfolds within the next couple of years. Peace!

Please just stay off of the air!!! I beg whoever is running SI TV to please stop torturing me with re-runs of the same old crappy shows! Right now I have raised a few dollars for the “Help Si TV fund”. My mission is to raise a few million and give it to SI TV so they can create a new program. If I was forced to watch SI TV for a whole week, I think I would probably kill myself. A few months ago, SI TV decided to air re-runs of the Freddie show. Does anybody remember that show? Freddie Prinze Jr and Brian Austin Green were the main stars of the show. Why would you even bother putting that show into syndication? How many episodes were there any ways? Three or four? SI TV is also airing a show titled Adreninlina, this show has a horrible host that thinks he is funny. I have noticed that the only person that laughs at the jokes is the host! I often find myself changing the channel when I see that jackass on my flat screen tv. What I want to know is, when is SI TV going to make an Urban Jungle 3? I guess SI TV doesn’t have enough money in their budget to create a part 3.
