The Kid with A lot to Say

It seems like anchors and reporters just use El Paso as a temporary place to polish their skills. You know, I do not blame them at all. Well I am sure that everybody knows that Mari Alvarez is leaving KTSM in June. What I would like to know is, who do you think is going to leave soon? When I log on to blogger to write my two-bit posts, The Wire always enters my mind and then I forget to write about it. Well, the last and final season of The Wire ended in March of this year. The Wire is an HBO original series that premiered in 2002. I know I always say this about my favorite tv shows, but I truly believe that the show could have lasted for another two years. Seasons 1 through 4 have been released on DVD and you can buy them for about 48 bucks at Wal-Mart. I didn't start watching the show until January of 2007, when BET picked up the show for syndication. I then decided to rent seasons 1 through 3 at Hollywood Video and watch them without any censorship. BET is currently showing season 4 of The Wire on Wednesday nights. I have not seen season 5 yet. I have already heard that the character of Omar Little was killed! Damn! I cannot believe that Omar is dead!! So with all of this being said, go and buy all of the seasons of The Wire. Peace!!
