Shows I watched when I was in Junior High: Martin

What happened to Martin Lawrence? All of the movies he has been doing over the past six years smell like a combination of feces and pee! This man has not done anything funny since Martin! For all the young kids out there, Martin Lawrence had his own television show on Fox. It was called Martin. From 1992 to 1997, you could see Martin every Thursday night. Hold on, actually Martin originally appeared on Sunday nights after the Simpsons for about a year. Anyways, the show featured Tisha Cambell , Tommy Ford, Tichina Arnold, and Carl Anthony Payne or whatever Cole’s name was? What really kept me watching Martin was Martin’s characters. She nay nay, the security guard, and Jerome. I always believed that it was the funniest show on Fox at that time. Well R.I.P. Martin Lawrence’s Career!

SI TV shows the same old shows over and over again!

If you watch SI TV then you know what I am talking about. From what I have seen, SI TV shows the same old shows over and over again! How many times can you see Urban Jungle 1 and 2 over and over again? How many times can you see Resurrection Blvd over and over again? Whoever is running SI TV needs to dump the current programs and create some new programs. As for their syndicated tv shows, they need to dump NY Undercover, Dark Angel, and Resurrection Blvd. Maybe they can pick up Kojak, Miami Vice, or The George Lopez Show? One show that they should definitely breathe new life into is Latino Laugh Festival. I was watching an episode and Freddy Soto was performing! Freddy Soto passed away two years ago!!! I am 100 percent sure that SI TV is aware of their horrible programming. I guess they just don’t have the funds right now to bring in better programs. I am going to setup a donation fund for SI TV, hopefully enough people will donate enough money for SI TV. So please someone out there, donate what you can!

TV Channel You Should Watch: MOJO HD

I have been watching MOJO for the past three months and I totally enjoy watching this channel. If I could compare this channel to another channel, it would have to be Spike. If you are between the age of 18 and 60, I think you will definitely enjoy MOJO. I believe that MOJO was created by the indemand cable network. The following shows on MOJO will definitely get your attention,I Bet You, King of Miami, and Test Drive. I swear, if it wasn't for this channel I wouldn't even even be watching TV. Don’t forget that in order to view MOJO, you need an HD television and a digital cable subscription. Oh, another plus of watching MOJO, you can see a recap of the Howard Stern show on Saturday nights.

What I wore when I was a Teenager: Timberland 6 inch Work Boots

I still own the exact same pair of Boots

Timbs, Timberlands, Timbos, whatever you want to call them, are rugged work boots with a tiny logo of a tree on the side. Why did I start wearing timberland boots you ask??? I will be honest with you, I needed a rugged work boot when I walked through the streets of the big city. I was also influenced by the fashions of NY City during the 1990s. The timberland 6 inch boot comes in a variety of colors. The most famous color being wheat and the second most popular color being black and the third most popular color being brown. I had a pair of wheat and a pair of dark brown 6 inch timberlands. The boot is not the most comfortable shoe in the world, that is why I always placed an insole inside my timberlands. The combo of a timberland boot and a good insole was perfect for rolling through any city or borough. My only problem with the boots is that they were expensive and they still are! The timberland boot is like the Jeep Wrangler of the work boot industry. It is rugged and can take you through all types of terrain. A plain pocket t-shirt, some baggy dark indigo jeans, and a pair of Timberland boots is all I needed when I was a teenager walking from high school to downtown to catch the metro bus.

Hot Chick with Talent: Sarah Shahi

Umm? Okay I am going to focus on what this lady has done on the small screen and big screen. I am not going to focus on her body or any parts of her body. I will say this though, she is a hot Iranian chick that will make you take a look at her twice. To start things off, she is from Texas and she was born in 1980. She is an ex-cowboy cheerleader that appeared on the 2000 cover of the Cowboys swimsuit calendar. Not only was she a hot cheerleader, but she was also a hot lesbian dj on the Showtime series “The L Word”. As of now you can see Sarah on the NBC show “Life”. I have not yet seen this tv show, so I cannot tell you if it stinks or if it smells like roses. I can tell you this, Sarah is fugging hot! Peace!!

Chicks that I liked when I was a teenager: Heather Hunter

This pic was taken when Heather use to eat well!!!

Yes, I loved Heather Hunter when I was a teenage punk growing up in the mid 90s. I don’t know what it was about her, but I loved Heather Hunter when I was around 14 years of age. Come to think of it, I had a huge crush on Heather Hunter. Was it her curly hair and light skin? Im not really sure. If I can remember correctly, a friend of mine let me borrow a tape and that is how I found out about her. My love for Heather died around 1999 or 2000, around that time she started losing weight like crazy. Seriously! Has anyone seen Heather lately? She looks like a toothpick. I am going to assume that her transformation occurred because someone told her she was fat.

TV Shows that went into the Toilet: New York Undercover

I would have to say that NYU reminded me of Miami Vice. Maybe it reminded me of Vice for the fact that Dick Wolf was the executive producer. If anyone remembers, Dick Wolf worked on Miami Vice during the third and forth seasons. I guess Dick wanted to create his own Vice for the Fox network. If you are familiar with Vice then you should be familiar with the plot of NYU. NYU aired from Sep of 1994 to May of 1998. The first three seasons of NYU were good, but the last season of NYU was horrible!!! Michael De Lorenzo and Patti Arbenville left after season three. It is also appearent that they also took the show writers with them. To be honest with you, I do not consider the last season of NYU to be NYU. They should have dropped the title and called the show “Tommy from Martin finally found a job pretending to be a cop” Yes, Tommy Ford was a regular cast member in season four! I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw Tommy! The first thing I said was “Damn Tommy! You finally found a job!!!” I was expecting Martin Lawrence and the whole gang from Martin to show up! If I can remember correctly, Detective Williams (Yoba) and Detective Moreno (Velez) no longer worked for the police department. They worked for Tommy and they tried looking for jobs for him! Im just joking! The last season of NYU was just horrible. I am not sure if they wanted the show to be like the Mod Squad or like Mission Impossible? There should have never have been a Season four. Watching season four was like watching paint dry! I don’t know who to blame though for season four? Should I blame Michael De Lorenzo for leaving or should I blame the script writers that were hired for season four? I really don’t know. All that I know is NYU was a good show and it turned into something totally different during season four. Why Malik Yoba and Lauren Velez agreed to appear in season four is beyond me. I guess they were desperate for the green backs. If you want to see New York Undercover, you can see it on SI TV everyday. I believe that season two is being shown right now on SI TV.

DOG THE BUTTHOLE HUNTER!!

Who knew that Dog was a butthole racist? I am just kidding! He always looked like a racist to me! When I first started watching his show on A&E back in 2004, the first thing I said was “That dude looks like he hates anything that is not white!” I mean seriously, you couldn’t tell that this guy was a racist from the start? Please! Wasn’t it obvious! He was always arresting Hawaiian people, black people, and hispanic people. This guy rarely went after white people! It was about time that A&E pulled the plug on this show. How many times can you see Dog doing the same old shit over and over again. This show should have only lasted for a year! Oh another thing! Didn’t Dong the Bounty Hunter make a guest appearance on The George Lopez Show? I wonder what George Lopez thinks about all of this? I guess the point that I am trying to make with this post is that I am not shocked about Dog using the N-word. What has shocked me is the fact that his show has lasted for so long! Watching a Bounty Hunter use bear mace every week and make two bit speeches to convicts is boring!

Shows You Should Watch:The Shield

When The Shield first premiered in the spring of 2002, It really didn’t grab my attention. At that time I was watching the first season (reruns) of Miami Vice on Spike TV. It wasn’t until the fall of 2006, that I started watching The Shield on Spike. After watching the first episode, I became a faithful viewer of the repeats on Spike. This show has to be one of the best cable tv shows in production right now! I really don’t want to give you a plot summary of the show, so if you want to know what the show is about, visit the official website or go to Wikipedia for more information. The Shield features Michael Chiklis aka The Commish, CCH Pounder, and Benito Martinez. The show has had a good run on the F/X network for the past five years. The Shield will run for one more season in the spring of 2008. I really do believe that The Shield can run for two more seasons. The acting is solid and the story lines keep you interested. If you want to see the previous seasons of the Shield, watch Spike. Check the listings to see what time it airs. In the mountain time zone, it airs at 12:00 am until 2:00 am (full 2 hour block). Believe me, if you like police tv shows, you will definitely like The Shield.
